Sara Danielsson


Sara Danielsson is a graphic designer and multidisciplinary artist from Portland, Oregon currently based out of Malmö, Sweden. Her practice encompasses the mediums of visual identity, editorial design, animation and illustration. Combining digital and analogue processes using texture, movement, and experimentation, she produces work that feels contemporary and exciting while retaining a tactile, humanistic quality.

“Songworld” posters, 2025
As part of my ongoing creative collaboration with Portland singer-songwriter and indie folk-rocker Sam Milton, I was tasked with creating some posters for one of his first ever shows; a gig at Rose City Book Pub. I was given a lot of creative control on this project, going as far as to name the event “Songworld” myself. In order to stand out from the typical understated aesthetic so predominant amongst the Portland indie music scene, I tweaked and digitally destroyed several hand-drawn watercolor and oil pastel experiments.
