Sara Danielsson


Sara Danielsson is a graphic designer and multidisciplinary artist from Portland, Oregon currently based out of Malmö, Sweden. Her practice encompasses the mediums of visual identity, editorial design, animation and illustration. Combining digital and analogue processes using texture, movement, and experimentation, she produces work that feels contemporary and exciting while retaining a tactile, humanistic quality.

“Beyond: Study of Extra-Terrestial Phenomena” poster, 2022
As a birthday present, I created a poster for someone very near and dear to my heart who is fond of old, spooky explorations of aliens and unidentifiable phenomena, such as Art Bell’s “Coast to Coast FM” as well as the X-Files and Youtube videos about unexplained crop circles. It was an interesting challenge, as someone who doesn’t really care much for aliens. This poster was printed with BEAST Riso Studio in Malmö, Sweden, and was selected to be shown at their travelling exhibition “That’s Riso!” in 2022 and 2023.
